Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join an electronics manufacturing client in Cork. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement across high‑reliability circuit card production and mechanical system assembly, ensuring that processes meet quality, cost, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and implement improvements in the manufacture of electronic circuit cards and mechanical assemblies.
• Support production of circuit card assemblies using SMT, PTH, selective solder, aqueous cleaning, and conformal coating processes.
• Support mechanical assembly with automated torque drivers and laser marking equipment.
• Collaborate with production and cross‑functional teams to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Ensure all assembly processes are designed to satisfy product quality, throughput, cost, and EHS requirements.

Required profile

• Degree (Level 8) in an engineering discipline.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Practical, constructive, and analytical problem‑solving approach.
• Ability to apply and implement Lean Manufacturing concepts.
