Manufacturing Engineering Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function in a high‑volume, safety‑critical electronics environment. You will drive new product introduction, automation, facility development and production support to ensure scalable, high‑quality manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead NPI activities from concept through pilot builds and production ramp‑up, ensuring DFM/DFT compliance and delivering cost, yield, quality and schedule targets.
• Develop and execute the site automation strategy, identifying and implementing automation opportunities to improve productivity, quality and labour efficiency.
• Provide senior engineering support for complex production issues, drive structured problem‑solving, OEE improvement and line performance optimisation.
• Support capacity expansion and facility projects, including layout optimisation, infrastructure planning and production readiness.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing Manufacturing Engineering team and foster collaboration across R&D, Operations, Quality and Supply Chain.

Required profile

• Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronic or Industrial Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in high‑volume electronics manufacturing.
• Proven engineering leadership or team‑management experience.
• Strong background in NPI, manufacturing automation, production line development and structured problem solving.
