Manufacturing Engineering Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a high‑volume, highly automated electronics production site. The role oversees New Product Introduction, automation strategy, facilities engineering and production support, driving manufacturing excellence and supporting the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead NPI activities from early design through pilot builds and full‑scale production, ensuring DFM, DFT and robust process development.
• Drive automation projects, identify opportunities for test and material‑handling automation, and deliver technology improvements.
• Provide engineering leadership for facilities, capacity expansion, layout optimisation and infrastructure projects.
• Support production teams with complex engineering issues, improving quality, yield, OEE and overall performance.
• Build, mentor and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronic, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 7‑10+ years of experience in high‑volume manufacturing, with prior engineering leadership.
• Proven track record in NPI, process development, automation delivery and lean manufacturing.
• Experience managing CapEx projects, equipment implementation and stakeholder communication.
