Manufacturing Operator – Production & Packaging

About the role

Stryker is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join its medical device production team in Macroom. You will work on a shift‑based line, ensuring high‑quality products are produced, inspected and packaged according to strict SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Produce, package and label medical devices while following standard operating procedures.
• Inspect components using precision measuring equipment to verify engineering specifications.
• Complete production records, maintenance logs and device history reviews.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Perform final inspection activities, including finished‑goods checks and DHR review.
• Demonstrate safe work practices, proper equipment use and compliance with line‑clearance and 5‑pillars standards.

Required profile

• Leaving Certificate, Trade qualification or equivalent education.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Good communication skills.

Required skills

• Use of precision measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
• Inspection and verification of component specifications.
• Production record and maintenance log documentation.
• Knowledge of SOPs, health and safety procedures, and EHS compliance.
