Mechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our new €200 million carbon‑neutral brewery in Newbridge, Co. Kildare. The role will ensure the highest standards of maintenance and asset care across the brewery, utilities and water‑treatment plants, supporting both operations and maintenance in a shift‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise equipment in raw‑materials handling, brewhouse, cold block, utilities and water‑treatment plants.
• Uphold safety, quality, food‑safety and environmental standards.
• Identify and resolve equipment‑related issues in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Coach operators on autonomous maintenance tasks and machine set‑ups.
• Support capital projects including installation, commissioning and testing.
• Plan and manage SAP process orders and maintenance planning during shift hand‑overs.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as equipment efficiency and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial or brewing environment.
• Ability to work safely in a shift‑based, semi‑autonomous setting.

Required skills

• SAP (maintenance module)
