About the role

Direct Medics is seeking qualified medical consultants to work on a locum basis across a variety of hospitals and clinics throughout Ireland. These positions are available immediately and will continue on an ongoing basis, offering flexibility for experienced physicians.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultant‑level medical care in assigned locations on a locum basis.
• Deliver patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans in line with local clinical guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and governance requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Required profile

• Valid IMC registration.
• Right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
• Minimum six months of experience in a consultant or similar medical role within the UK or Ireland.
