National Account Manager – Food Sector

About the role

The National Account Manager will be based in Naas and work on‑site, travelling to customer sites as required. You will own a portfolio of key accounts, driving sales growth while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed revenue and profitability targets for assigned customers.
• Accurately forecast product requirements in collaboration with supply‑chain teams.
• Manage the full account lifecycle, from order entry to after‑sales support.
• Provide prompt resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
• Develop strong relationships to uncover new business opportunities.
• Maintain project documentation and approvals through the HUB system.
• Prepare pricing proposals, quotations and manage credit risk with finance support.
• Coordinate sample requests and support new product development initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management or sales within the food or agri‑business sector.
• Strong analytical ability to forecast demand and monitor profitability.
• Excellent communication skills for internal collaboration and external client interaction.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
