Night Porter – Hotel Security & Guest Services

About the role

The Night Porter will join the Killarney Towers Hotel team to ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment throughout the overnight shift. Working between 10:00 pm‑7:00 am (or 11:00 pm‑8:00 am), you will be the first point of contact for guests, handling front‑desk duties and supporting other hotel areas as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular security checks of the entire hotel building.
• Maintain a safe environment for guests, staff, and visitors at all times.
• Schedule and manage guest wake‑up calls.
• Provide porterage services when required.
• Handle front‑desk inquiries and guest requests during the night shift.
• Assist in the restaurant, bar, or lounge areas as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar hotel or hospitality role is advantageous.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Legal right to work in Ireland.

Required skills

• Strong attention to safety and security procedures.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently during night hours.
