Office 365 Technical Support Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an Office 365 Technical Support Analyst to join a public sector team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of extension. The role is primarily remote/flexible, working 35 hours per week, and involves providing first‑line support for a range of O365 applications.

Key responsibilities

• Log and manage incident, request and email tickets.
• Process form requests, call back users for additional information, and handle “how‑to” queries.
• Reset domain passwords, unlock accounts and manage Active Directory group memberships.
• Troubleshoot tickets via phone, remote control, Active Directory, Exchange, Lansweeper and related tools.
• Diagnose and resolve O365, network, Citrix and hardware issues.
• Follow established processes, escalation procedures and compliance guidelines.
• Maintain records, submit reports and assist colleagues as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in an office or IT support environment.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and report writing.
• Good problem‑solving, analytical and decision‑making abilities.
• Evidence of delivering quality work outputs.
• Excellent written and oral communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
• Self‑starter with a professional approach to stakeholder interaction.
