Part‑time Accommodation Assistant

About the role

Carton House, a five‑star Fairmont resort in Ireland, is seeking part‑time Accommodation Assistants to join its Accommodation Team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Present a professional appearance and provide courteous welcome to guests on arrival and departure.
• Handle and store chemicals in line with COSHH regulations.
• Maintain floors, carpets, tiles and corridors to required cleaning standards.
• Carry out weekly, monthly and yearly cleaning tasks as scheduled.
• Anticipate guest needs to enhance service quality and exceed expectations.
• Promote resort services and products to maximise sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Excellent people skills with passion, energy and enthusiasm.
• Good understanding of hotel operations.
• Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Previous experience in a similar hospitality role (essential).
• Willingness to work shifts and flexible hours.
