Part‑time Accountant – Hybrid (Finance & Accounting)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified, practice‑trained Accountant to join our growing business on a part‑time, hybrid basis. You will work closely with the business owner, handling a diverse client portfolio while helping to improve our internal financial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and finalise company financial accounts.
• Prepare tax computations for sole traders.
• Manage a broad portfolio of clients across various sectors.
• Liaise directly with clients to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Support the owner in reviewing and improving internal systems and financial processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
• Assist with ad‑hoc financial and operational projects as required.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA).
• Previous practice experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and tax computations.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office.
