Passivation Team Leader

About the role

The Passivation Team Leader will oversee safe, efficient, and compliant passivation and specialist chemical cleaning activities for pharmaceutical, biopharma, and food & beverage clients across Ireland. You will manage three field crews, coordinate daily site operations, and ensure projects meet GMP, safety, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate three passivation crews across multiple client sites.
• Plan labour allocation, scheduling, mobilisation of personnel, equipment and materials.
• Ensure all works comply with GMP, client procedures, RAMS and company SOPs.
• Conduct site visits, audits, toolbox talks and safety inspections.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to field teams.
• Monitor project progress, resolve operational issues and manage projects from enquiry to final reporting.
• Liaise with pharmaceutical clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare quotations, pricing and estimates for labour, equipment, chemicals and logistics.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and chemical waste handling.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma, trade qualification or equivalent experience in Engineering, Mechanical Services, Construction Management or related field.
• Mechanical or process engineering background.
• Previous experience in passivation, chemical cleaning or pharmaceutical mechanical services.
• Experience supervising multiple site crews or teams.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical/GMP environments.
• Full clean driving licence.
