Pharmacy Porter & Driver – Procurement

About the role

Peamount Healthcare is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Porter & Driver to support the Procurement and Pharmacy departments. The role involves the safe and efficient distribution of medication, stock and supplies across the campus, as well as assisting with waste collection and compacting.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, transport and deliver pharmaceutical supplies and general stock to designated locations on the site.
• Assist the Pharmacy team with timely medication distribution to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
• Support the Procurement department by handling incoming deliveries and organizing stock rooms.
• Collect, sort and compact cardboard and plastic waste in accordance with environmental guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and waste handling activities.

Required profile

• Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility for handling medication and supplies.
• Ability to work independently and follow health and safety procedures.
• Physical fitness to perform lifting and moving tasks throughout the day.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing workload demands.
