Pharmacy Technician – Maternity Cover (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join our hospital pharmacy team on a maternity cover basis. This full‑time, fixed‑term position offers the chance to work in a state‑of‑the‑art facility, supporting high‑quality pharmaceutical care and maintaining JCI accreditation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist the Chief Pharmacist in upholding the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
• Manage inventory, conduct stock checks and ensure proper storage of medicines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise pharmacy services.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and accreditation processes.

Required profile

• Pharmacy Technician certification or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting; hospital experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt working hours as needed.
