About the role
The Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board is seeking a qualified Post Primary Teacher of Home Economics for Dungarvan College. This specific‑purpose, fixed‑term position covers a period of leave and requires delivery of the Home Economics curriculum in line with the Teaching Council’s Code of Professional Conduct.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess Home Economics lessons for post‑primary students.
- Provide learning support and guidance to students as needed.
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.
- Comply with all statutory and professional teaching standards.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher with registration on the Teaching Council of Ireland.
