Post Primary Mathematics Teacher

About the role

The Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board is seeking a qualified Post Primary Mathematics Teacher for St. Paul’s Community College in Waterford. This is a pro‑rata, fixed‑term position for the 2026/27 academic year, working 22 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Mathematics curriculum in accordance with the Teaching Council’s Code of Professional Conduct.
• Provide learning support and guidance to students as needed.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments and report on student progress.
• Participate in school-wide activities, staff meetings and professional development.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with appropriate registration with the Teaching Council of Ireland.
• Demonstrated ability to teach mathematics at post‑primary level.
• Commitment to inclusive education and student welfare.
