About the role

The Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board (WWETB) is seeking a qualified Post Primary Teacher of English as an Additional Language (EAL) for Kennedy College in County Wexford. The successful candidate will deliver EAL instruction in line with the Teaching Council’s Code of Professional Conduct.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess EAL lessons for post‑primary students.
• Provide learning support and guidance tailored to individual student needs.
• Ensure teaching practices comply with the Teaching Council’s professional standards.
• Participate in school-wide activities and contribute to the wider educational community.
