Post Primary Teacher – Learning Support

About the role

The Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board is seeking a qualified Post Primary Teacher to provide learning support at Kennedy College, Co. Wexford. The successful candidate will deliver curriculum instruction while ensuring that all students receive appropriate support in line with the Teaching Council’s Code of Professional Conduct.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess curriculum content for post‑primary students.
• Identify and implement learning support strategies for students with additional needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and external agencies to create inclusive learning environments.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement processes.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with registration on the Teaching Council of Ireland.
• Experience or training in learning support or special educational needs is desirable.
• Commitment to professional ethics and the Code of Professional Conduct for Teachers.
