Post Primary Teacher – Learning Support

About the role

The Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board is seeking a qualified Post Primary Teacher to provide learning support at Kennedy College, Co. Wexford. The role involves delivering the curriculum in line with the Teaching Council’s Code of Professional Conduct while offering targeted support to students who need additional assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons across the assigned subject areas.
• Identify and assess the learning needs of individual students.
• Develop and implement personalised learning support strategies.
• Collaborate with senior staff and other teachers to ensure inclusive classroom practices.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and support interventions.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland.
• Experience or training in learning support or special educational needs is desirable.
• Commitment to professional standards and continuous development.
• Ability to work effectively within a school community.
