Preload Warehouse Operative

About the role
Join UPS as a Preload Warehouse Operative and play a key part in the fast‑paced movement of packages. You will work in a dynamic environment, handling loading, unloading and sorting tasks while supporting the overall efficiency of the warehouse.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload UPS packages into trailers or package cars.
- Ship, receive, scan, sort and stock packages accurately.
- Operate heavy machinery when required to move items safely.
- Learn and follow UPS package‑handling methods and safety procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned in a high‑volume setting.
Required profile
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg).
- Capability to read and memorize postal codes.
- Flexibility to work varied shift hours, up to five days per week.
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
