Processing Manager – Mining Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Processing Manager to lead the ore treatment plant at our Simberi operation in Papua New Guinea. Reporting to the General Manager Processing, you will oversee all resources to ensure efficient, cost‑effective processing in line with budget and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and optimise the processing plant to meet production, recovery and cost‑per‑tonne targets.
• Maintain and improve fit‑for‑purpose systems and ensure compliance with environmental and community obligations.
• Deliver accurate and timely reporting to senior management and external stakeholders.
• Lead the Processing Department as a member of the Site Leadership Team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage fixed‑asset integrity, contract partners and succession planning for future leaders.

Required profile

• Degree in Process or Metallurgical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Significant experience in a senior processing or plant management role within mining or construction.
• Previous expatriate experience in remote locations.
• Strong commercial acumen, leadership and team development capabilities.

• Metallurgical processing knowledge.
