Procurement Specialist – Global Procurement

About the role

The Global Procurement Specialist supports Circle K’s procurement function by analysing vendor performance, reviewing purchasing data and managing supplier relationships. This role ensures sourcing activities are cost‑effective, high‑quality and aligned with business needs while strengthening strategic, sustainable partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify trends and analyse internal metrics such as purchase movement, pricing, funding impact, supplier KPIs and business proposals; create bid summaries and recommend opportunities.
• Understand rebate structures (growth rebates, tiered incentives, marketing support) and assess their impact on true net cost.
• Build structured Excel models for negotiations, scenario planning and savings validation.
• Develop scalable data transformations and structured data sets to support commercial and operational decisions.
• Identify savings opportunities across markets and coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver measurable savings.
• Analyse category productivity using Circle K financial analysis systems (BI, AC Nielsen) to produce regular and ad‑hoc category or supplier management reports.
• Prepare and format reports, summarising information for stakeholders.
• Maintain electronic files for supplier agreements and communications, ensuring correct contract handling and procurement processing.
• Ensure data accuracy by coordinating with business units and the procurement network, participating in internal reviews and updating data requests.
• Drive change by challenging the status quo, conducting root‑cause analyses and implementing process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or procurement analytics.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to break down pricing into cost drivers such as freight, rebates and total cost of ownership.
• Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
