Production Operative

About the role

The Production Operative works on the Citywest printing site, ensuring that all print and finishing jobs meet Snap's high‑quality standards and customer specifications. This role collaborates closely with sales, design, and production teams to deliver projects on time.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret work docket instructions.
• Print and finish jobs to the highest quality, flagging any issues early.
• Update job progress in the MIS system (PrintLogic).
• Pack and ship completed jobs for customer collection, courier, or internal delivery.
• Maintain equipment and keep maintenance logs up to date.
• Conduct quality checks against Snap and customer requirements.
• Assist management with production planning and stock management.
• Support the wider production team as demand fluctuates.
• Perform final inspections to ensure specifications are met before delivery.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy.
