Production Operator – Electronic Assembly (Cork)

About the role

We are seeking Production Operators to join a leading Cork‑based designer and manufacturer of high‑reliability electronic motor control solutions. The role involves assembling electronic modules and systems on a 12‑month contract, working on the shop floor with a focus on quality and precision.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) and mechanical hardware following detailed assembly procedures, drawings and SOPs.
• Use torque tools to tighten specific fasteners to required specifications.
• Apply adhesives and conformal coatings where required.
• Set up test and assembly equipment and perform process‑related measurements.
• Carry out prototype assembly work under engineering supervision.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in electronics assembly or a closely related manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Familiarity with IPC‑7711/IPC‑7721 and IPC J‑Standard is an advantage.
• Personable and able to work comfortably with a variety of colleagues.
