Production Operator

About the role

Join PSC Biotech’s IPT team as a Production Operator working on a 24/7 shift in an onsite manufacturing environment. You will contribute to the reliable supply of biotech products while ensuring compliance, safety, and high‑quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment using MES, DCS and PLC systems to achieve target outputs and maximum uptime.
• Perform clean‑room cleaning, housekeeping and materials management across all production areas.
• Manage equipment flow, track hold times, label and inventory clean and sterile tools using Kanban and automated MES status.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair process equipment where qualified.
• Write, revise and roll out operational procedures and training materials for IPT systems.
• Support continuous improvement through investigations, change control execution, root‑cause analysis and Kaizen projects.

Required profile

• Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in biotech or pharma.
• Willingness to work a 24/7 shift schedule onsite.
• Strong adherence to compliance, safety and quality standards.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and documentation requirements.

Required skills

• MES, DCS and PLC operation.
• Knowledge of parts washers, autoclaves, CIP/SIP systems, Vial Washers, Depyro Tunnels, Debaggers and filling machines.
• Lean manufacturing principles.
• Kanban inventory management.
• Root‑cause analysis and change‑control processes.
