Production Operator

About the role

Join the Stryker Ireland Production Team as a Production Operator, responsible for executing manufacturing activities that meet strict quality and safety standards. You will work in empowered teams, contribute to continuous improvement projects, and ensure patient safety through reliable product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing tasks in line with SOPs, work instructions, GMP, and GDP requirements.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities within assigned cells or teams.
• Maintain EHS, 5S housekeeping, and compliance standards at all times.
• Monitor business metrics (EHS, quality, production) and resolve issues or escalate when necessary.
• Participate in training, cross‑training, and knowledge‑transfer activities.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed as scheduled.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working different shifts or cells to meet business needs.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and follow documented procedures.
• Willingness to work overtime, attend reliably, and adapt to changing production demands.
• Basic mechanical, spatial, numerical and literacy skills.
• Role‑model of company values and ideal behaviours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Experience with 5S housekeeping and lean manufacturing principles.
• EHS compliance awareness.
• Mechanical and spatial skills.
