Project Manager – 6‑month contract

About the role

This 6‑month contract position is for an experienced Project Manager who can deliver complex projects in a regulated financial services environment. You will work autonomously while collaborating with business, technology and operational teams to meet organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of complex projects, ensuring objectives are met.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocations.
• Manage scope, change requests, risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies with appropriate governance.
• Produce accurate documentation, reports and status updates for senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaboration across cross‑functional teams, business stakeholders and third‑party suppliers.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex projects from initiation to successful completion in a highly regulated environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence at all organisational levels.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies and governance frameworks (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile).
• Experience with risk, change and stakeholder management.
• Production of project plans, status reports, governance packs and related documentation.
