Project Scheduler – Electrical Projects

About the role

The successful candidate will support the delivery of multiple electrical projects for a leading Cork‑based contractor. Working closely with Project Managers, site teams and commercial departments, you will ensure projects stay on schedule and meet programme milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules and trackers.
• Monitor progress against milestones and produce regular progress reports, dashboards and schedule updates for senior management.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and site teams to identify risks, delays and programme impacts.
• Track labour allocation, procurement schedules and project deliverables.
• Assist with resource planning and forecasting across multiple projects.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting systems.
• Support commercial and operational teams with data analysis and scheduling information.
• Ensure all scheduling information is communicated effectively across the business.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Project Scheduler, Project Coordinator, Planner or similar role within construction, engineering or M&E contracting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across several live projects.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Experience with project scheduling/planning software is advantageous.
• Understanding of electrical installations or electrical contracting projects is highly desirable.
• Proactive problem‑solving approach.
