Python Developer – Serverless & AI Focus (Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking a Python Developer to join a growing Dublin‑based engineering team. The role focuses on building serverless applications on AWS and contributing to a new AI team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure Python applications.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers and architects to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Contribute to system design and technical decisions in a cloud‑based, serverless environment.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code and participate in code reviews and pair programming.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Help improve development processes, CI/CD pipelines and delivery workflows.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Collaborative mindset with a strong eagerness to learn and grow.
• Experience delivering projects with an AI focus.

Required skills

• Python programming language.
• Object‑oriented design and clean‑code principles.
• AWS serverless services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB).
• DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker.
• Monitoring and logging tools.
