Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician

About the role

Join Nestlé’s Quality Assurance Center in Dublin and contribute to the safety and wellbeing of consumers by performing analytical testing on food and beverage samples. You will work in a collaborative environment where speed, agility and quality are paramount.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex analytical testing on samples following NQAC methods.
• Prepare, weigh, homogenize samples and manage data entry for laboratory workflows.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, calibrate balances, pH meters and autoclaves, and ensure safety compliance.
• Document results, generate reports, and assist in QA documentation and process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; a degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology or related science preferred.
• At least one year of practical experience in an analytical laboratory or relevant academic coursework.
• Basic proficiency in English reading, writing and speaking.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Operation of laboratory balances, pH meters and autoclaves.
• Sample preparation, weighing, homogenization and data entry.
• Execution of standard analytical methods and interpretation of results.
