Quality Compliance Officer – Pharmaceutical Distribution

About the role
As a Quality Compliance Officer you will ensure that United Drug’s pharmaceutical distribution processes meet all regulatory and internal standards. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to manage documentation, support audits, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle of over 3,000 controlled documents within the Document Management System (DMS).
- Monitor key performance indicators and produce organisation‑wide compliance reports on documentation, training and change controls.
- Prepare and submit licence variation applications to the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) and track them within the QMS.
- Support internal audits as a support auditor, ensuring audit readiness and compliance assurance.
- Act as a key user for QMS databases, including E‑Learning platforms and M‑Files.
- Apply a continuous‑improvement mindset to all aspects of the role.
- Deliver regular training in line with United Drug’s procedures and GDP/GMP guidelines.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or regulated distribution industry.
- Strong IT aptitude with experience using documentation management systems (advantageous).
- Working knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to meet deadlines independently.
- Proven problem‑solving abilities and a commitment to accuracy.
