R2R Accountant – International Finance Team

About the role

Barden is looking for an R2R Accountant to join a high‑performing finance team that supports multiple business units across EMEA and APAC. You will work on international accounting, financial reporting, tax, treasury and process‑improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals and accounting adjustments.
• Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations and detailed account analysis.
• Manage intercompany accounting activities and maintain fixed‑asset records.
• Support month‑end and quarter‑end close processes.
• Assist with financial reporting, consolidation and income‑tax accruals (ASC 740).
• Perform treasury tasks such as bank reconciliations and payment processing.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, US GAAP, local accounting standards and internal controls.
• Partner with finance colleagues across international units and respond to audit queries.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement, standardisation and process‑optimisation projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance or Record‑to‑Report functions.
• Professional qualification (or studying) such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CPA.
• Experience in a multinational or shared‑services environment is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls and SOX requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
