About the role

The Regional Director of Sales will lead commercial growth across the EMEA region for an advanced healthcare technology company. Based in Ireland, you will shape the go‑to‑market strategy for innovative software solutions targeting hospitals, academic institutions and key clinical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and execute the EMEA commercial strategy, including market prioritisation, territory planning and channel strategy.
  • Own regional revenue targets, bookings, pipeline generation and forecasting accuracy.
  • Lead and optimise distributor and channel‑partner performance across multiple markets.
  • Recruit, develop and manage regional sales teams, including account managers and clinical sales specialists.
  • Drive direct sales activities in markets without distributor coverage.
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders, academic institutions and strategic healthcare stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with regulatory, marketing and customer‑success teams to support market access and product approvals.
  • Oversee sales operations using CRM systems, ensuring accurate performance tracking.
  • Travel across the EMEA region to support customers, partners and business‑development initiatives.

Required profile

  • 5+ years of experience in radiation oncology or medical‑technology sales.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing sales teams across multiple EMEA countries.
  • Proven track record with both direct and distributor‑led sales models in healthcare or enterprise environments.
  • Experience selling into public healthcare systems, academic hospitals or large medical networks.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare procurement processes and RFP‑driven environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build accurate forecasts, manage pipelines and deliver consistent revenue growth.
