Regional Manager - Munster Region

About the role

Applegreen is seeking a Regional Manager for the Munster region to take full P&L responsibility for its petrol filling station (PFS) network. You will drive sales growth, manage margins and costs, and ensure high standards of customer service, food quality, safety and compliance across all stores.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales and budget targets by monitoring financial performance and troubleshooting obstacles.
• Control cost of sales and labour, reviewing store labour content and advising managers on profit optimisation.
• Set weekly and annual budgets with store managers and track results against plan.
• Lead recruitment, training and development of management teams; conduct performance appraisals.
• Maintain and exceed operational standards for service, cleanliness, safety and stock efficiency.
• Gather and act on employee and customer feedback to improve store performance.
• Communicate product, marketing and industry updates to teams and ensure execution.
• Oversee community involvement, charity events and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple retail locations with full P&L accountability.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills.
• Hands‑on, results‑oriented approach with the ability to solve problems quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
