Registered Veterinary Nurse (Floating) – Limerick

About the role

The Vet Office is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to work on a floating basis across several clinics in the Limerick region. This position offers variety, exposure to different caseloads and the chance to develop skills alongside experienced veterinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and hospital care for a range of animal patients.
• Conduct nurse‑led consultations and client communication.
• Monitor anaesthesia and assist during surgical procedures.
• Perform laboratory work and support diagnostic testing.
• Support veterinary surgeons and the wider clinical team in daily operations.

Required profile

• Qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse (or eligible for VCI registration).
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Flexible and adaptable to work across multiple clinic environments.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Previous veterinary nursing experience is desirable but not essential.

What we offer

• Salary €30,000 – €38,000 DOE
• Average 40 hours per week, mixed rota including weekends and occasional nights
