Registrar – Palliative Medicine (36‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Registrar in Palliative Medicine to join Donegal Hospice in Letterkenny on a 36‑month fixed‑term contract, starting as soon as possible. The role involves delivering specialist palliative care within a hospice setting and working closely with the multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment and management of patients requiring palliative care.
• Collaborate with nurses, allied health professionals and consultants to develop and implement care plans.
• Participate in on‑call duties and emergency response as required.

Required profile

• Valid IMC registration.
• Right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
• Minimum six months experience in a Registrar or similar role within the UK or Ireland.
