Reservations Agent

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Reservations Agent to join the team at Sheen Falls Lodge, a five‑star property in Kenmare, Co. Kerry. You will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering a seamless and personalised booking experience while supporting the hotel’s revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the initial touchpoint for guests, communicating rates, options and itineraries.
• Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings and keep the Hotsoft reservation system up‑to‑date.
• Manage and distribute rates through the D‑Edge channel manager to optimise pricing and availability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, ensuring exceptional service throughout the booking process.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Flexible to work 8‑hour shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of booking systems and CRM software.
• Familiarity with the Hotsoft reservation system (highly desirable).
• Experience using the D‑Edge channel manager.
