Retail Depot Assistant (Fixed‑Term) – Sligo

About the role

Certa Ireland is seeking a Retail Depot Assistant to support the smooth operation of its Sligo depot on a fixed‑term basis covering maternity leave. The role is centred on telephone‑based customer interaction, sales support and day‑to‑day depot activities.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound domestic calls, providing telesales and customer care.
• Assist with credit‑control phone calls and coordinate with sales representatives and drivers.
• Perform daily depot checks, report safety concerns and wear required PPE.
• Process payments for yard sales and place domestic and bulk orders via phone and counter.
• Promote additional products, Tesco Clubcard, and HVO to customers.
• Support the Depot Supervisor in routine depot operations.

Required profile

• Flexible availability, especially Monday‑Thursday evenings and Sunday evenings.
• Strong telephone communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work safely in a depot environment and follow PPE requirements.
• Willingness to promote Certa’s brand and products.
