Sales Director – Lead Growth in Dublin

About the role

At KONE we shape the future of cities as a global leader in lifts and escalators. We are looking for a Sales Director in Dublin to lead our sales team, drive sustainable growth and strengthen KONE’s market position in Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the sales strategy to drive profitable growth, increase market share and reinforce KONE’s leading position across the region.
• Lead and inspire high‑performing sales teams, set clear objectives, develop capability and foster a collaborative, results‑focused culture.
• Build and strengthen strategic customer relationships, working with key decision‑makers to identify new business opportunities.
• Drive commercial performance through effective pipeline management, forecasting, pricing strategies and sales performance analysis.
• Use market insight to shape business decisions, monitor competitor activity and ensure appropriate solutions for each customer segment.
• Champion operational excellence by embedding global sales processes, planning resources efficiently and continuously improving the customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading successful sales teams within a commercial or technical environment.
• Strong track record of delivering business growth and achieving sales targets.
• Experience developing sales strategies, forecasting and managing performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret market trends and competitor activity.
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to inspire, coach and develop others.
