SAP S/4HANA Integration Architect

About the role

A leading Irish business is running a high-pace SAP S/4HANA greenfield transformation to replace multiple legacy environments with a single S/4HANA platform, covering retail, foodservice and wholesale. Global Tech Consultants is recruiting an Integration Architect (SAP BTP Integration Suite) in Cork to define and drive the end-to-end integration architecture, set integration governance and standards, and work with business stakeholders, IT teams and external delivery partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define the end-to-end integration strategy and target architecture for the S/4HANA program across retail, wholesale and foodservice.
• Lead the design of integration patterns and standards using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh and S/4HANA integration approaches.
• Own integration architecture governance, including design authority, reviews and adherence to security and quality standards.
• Translate programme needs into integration roadmaps, interface inventories and architectural decisions.
• Provide hands-on architectural leadership for APIs (OData/REST), IDocs, EDI and hybrid integration with legacy systems.
• Coordinate stakeholders across business, IT and external partners and oversee build and delivery outcomes.
• Produce architecture documentation, solution briefs and stakeholder updates, and identify risks and dependencies early.

Required profile

• Significant experience in lead integration architecture roles (typically 10+ years or equivalent).
• Strong domain experience in grocery retail or similar high-volume retail, wholesale or foodservice environments.
• Proven experience designing and governing enterprise integration for SAP S/4HANA programs, ideally in greenfield or legacy-replacement projects.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Cork, Ireland.
