Senior Accountant – 75K + Bonus, Hybrid, Dublin

About the role

Join a leading Irish energy and infrastructure company as a Senior Accountant. You will work within a high‑performing Finance Operations team, supporting the organisation’s transition to a low‑carbon future while gaining exposure to complex group and business‑unit reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage period‑end close, consolidation and reconciliations across Group and Business Units.
• Coordinate the annual statutory audit and liaise with external auditors.
• Monitor IFRS developments and assess their impact on financial reporting.
• Ensure record‑to‑report controls are effective and compliant.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting and reporting processes.
• Review work and support the development of junior team members.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver insights and resolve queries.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.
