Internal Audit Manager

About the role

Flutter is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to join its Global Audit team. You will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, delivering risk‑based insight across technology, operations and commercial initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through reporting, providing high‑quality assurance and advisory outcomes.
• Assess governance, control design and operating effectiveness, identifying practical improvement areas.
• Identify systemic issues and root causes to strengthen risk management and business performance.
• Produce clear, well‑structured audit reports that influence senior decision‑making.
• Build trusted relationships with internal partners while maintaining independence and constructive challenge.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodology, technology and team capability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in accounting, finance or audit roles.
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIA).
• Experience evaluating governance, risk management and control environments, preferably in a regulated sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt style for diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Data‑analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Risk‑based audit design and implementation.
