Senior Architect

About the role

The Senior Architect will lead the architectural design of complex commercial and mixed‑use projects for .bieker in Dublin. Reporting to senior management, you will drive projects from concept through to construction documentation, ensuring high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept designs, feasibility studies and detailed construction documents.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and manage client relationships.
• Oversee planning applications, permitting processes and compliance with Irish and EU building codes.
• Review and approve drawings, specifications and BIM models.
• Support contract administration, site supervision and quality control.
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Architecture and registration/chartership (or eligibility) in a relevant jurisdiction.
• Extensive experience leading complex commercial, office, residential, industrial or transport infrastructure projects.
• Proven project‑management skills, including scheduling, budgeting and risk management.
• Familiarity with software development and integration concepts related to digital design tools and BIM workflows.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present design concepts clearly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BIM and design software such as Revit and AutoCAD (or equivalent).
• In‑depth knowledge of Irish and EU building codes and regulations.
