Senior Azure Cloud Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Consultant with deep expertise in Kubernetes to design, implement and optimise cloud‑native solutions for our clients. You will work closely with development, DevOps and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable and resilient environments on Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor client Azure infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance and security.
• Design and implement Azure architectures focused on containerised workloads using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Provision, configure and maintain Azure resources such as virtual machines, Data Lake, Synapse workspaces, storage accounts, virtual networks and security groups.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve performance, connectivity and security issues across Azure and Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and IT Operations to support deployment and integration of Azure solutions.
• Lead cloud migration and modernisation projects, including re‑platforming and re‑architecting applications for Azure.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for containerised applications.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship and knowledge‑transfer sessions to client teams and junior consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud consulting or engineering roles.
• Proven experience designing and operating Azure‑based solutions at scale.
• Strong background with Kubernetes and Service Mesh technologies for traffic management, security and observability.
