Senior Design Engineer / Technical Design Lead

About the role

Image Showers is looking for a Senior Design Engineer / Technical Design Lead to drive the design and development of our shower enclosure portfolio. You will own projects from concept through to production, ensuring high‑quality, manufacturable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies and technical drawings for new and existing products.
• Develop Bills of Materials and accurate manufacturing drawings for production and assembly.
• Lead product development from concept, prototyping, testing, to launch.
• Visit customer sites to take measurements, assess installation constraints and translate findings into production‑ready specifications.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, resolve design or quality issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and coordinating with sales, purchasing, production and customer service.

Required profile

• Strong background in product design and engineering, preferably in the bathroom or enclosure industry.
• Excellent understanding of measurement, site conditions and practical installation requirements.
• Highly organised, hands‑on, and able to work closely with cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel to sites for bespoke projects.

Required skills

• 3D CAD modelling and technical drawing.
