Senior Director, Professional Services Center of Excellence

About the role

NetApp is seeking a visionary senior leader to build and run its global Professional Services Center of Excellence (CoE). The role will define methodologies, offers, tools, and operational rigor that underpin the services portfolio, ensuring consistency, quality, and profitability across all service motions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead practice stewardship, voice of customer programs, competitive benchmarking, and scorecard development.
• Define and maintain a unified consulting methodology aligned with industry frameworks (e.g., WADI, PDIO) and ensure consistent offer structures.
• Partner with product and portfolio teams to create, manage, and retire service offers, establishing governance boards and stage‑gate processes.
• Set delivery standards, quality controls, and best practices; drive tooling, automation, and repeatability to improve efficiency and margin.
• Build a global knowledge‑management system and disseminate best practices across regions.
• Develop consulting‑first sales motions and align pre‑sales activities with service offerings.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in professional services, consulting, or managed services at a global scale.
• Track record of building high‑performing teams, defining methodologies, and driving operational excellence.
• Strong strategic vision with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑centric mindset.
