Senior Employment Counsel – Dublin

About the role

TikTok’s Global Legal team is expanding and seeks a seasoned Employment Counsel to join its EMEA Employment Law group in Dublin. You will act as a trusted legal advisor to HR and business leaders, helping shape employment policies and manage complex cross‑border issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice on recruitment, global mobility, workplace investigations, terminations and disputes across Ireland, the UK and the wider EMEA region.
• Collaborate with Global Legal colleagues to deliver cohesive counsel on regional and global initiatives.
• Support business growth by delivering risk‑based, pragmatic solutions.
• Draft and review employment policies, agreements and procedures to ensure compliance with local laws.
• Design and deliver internal training on employment‑law matters.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or barrister in Ireland or the UK with at least 5 years of employment‑law experience.
• Significant experience in private practice at a top firm or in‑house at a multinational.
• Proven ability to navigate cross‑border employment issues, including collective bargaining structures.
• Comfortable advising on GDPR matters and working with data‑privacy counsel.
• Excellent judgment, integrity and communication skills, with strong legal writing ability.
