Senior House Officer - Locum Medicine

About the role

Global Medics is recruiting Senior House Officers for locum medicine positions in Ireland, joining consultant-led medical teams across HSE hospitals. The work is described as flexible, fast-paced and supportive, with the chance to gain experience in a range of clinical settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care to patients in a variety of clinical settings
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes
• Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans and monitor progress
• Take part in ward rounds, case discussions and clinical audits
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Required profile

• Registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)
• Eligible to work in Ireland (Irish/UK/EU passport or Stamp 4 Visa, Stamp 1G Visa)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy clinical environment
• Commitment to continuous learning and high standards of patient care
