Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

Vodafone Ireland is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join its Internal Audit team. You will own and deliver a portfolio of audits, working on high‑profile engagements and influencing senior stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of Audit in executing the annual audit plan for Vodafone Ireland.
• Perform end‑to‑end internal audits following Vodafone’s methodology and produce concise, fact‑based audit reports.
• Ensure identified control weaknesses are remediated within agreed timelines.
• Communicate audit findings effectively to process owners and senior management.
• Prepare materials for local Audit & Risk Committee meetings.
• Liaise with Group Internal Audit, enterprise risk, legal and compliance functions to communicate potential risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in internal audit within a listed plc.
• Strong understanding of business processes, risk management and internal controls.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders while maintaining independence.
• Fluent in English.
