Senior Java Software Engineer – Fraud Platform

About the role

Mastercard’s Fraud Scoring and Analytics Platform team in Dublin is looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer. You will help design and build high‑performance, secure solutions that protect millions of transactions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement innovative Java‑based capabilities on the Mastercard Fraud Management Platform.
• Collaborate within a co‑located Agile Scrum team, working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Technical Leads and Quality Engineers.
• Develop scalable, secure software and produce design documentation that meets Mastercard standards.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, research alternative technical solutions, and ensure timely delivery of features.
• Leverage AI tools where appropriate and follow CI/CD best practices.

Required profile

• Senior‑level Java developer with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience delivering high‑volume, mission‑critical applications in a financial‑services environment.
• Comfortable working in an Agile (SAFe or Scrum) setting and collaborating across multiple disciplines.
